Every Friday and Saturday until April 8, 2017, Our Lady of Fatima will be offering Tax Preparation and Electronic Filing in Room E in McGowan Hall. Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their own tax returns. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. IRS-certified volunteers are often retired individuals associated with non-profit organizations that receive grants from the IRS. Walk-In's are permitted.
Valentine's Day gift certificates were distributed to Military families.

"Salute to Military Stars" Fall Fundraising event was held at the Talega Golf Club. Service members and their families were honored at a fundraising dinner with music, silent auction items, and more!

The parents' and kids' poolside Summer Open House was very well attended! This morale event was for families who have recently moved to San Onofre, as a way to introduce them to SCMFO. Many families attended, with more than 35 children combined! Almost 20 high-school students also received movie tickets to the local theater. There was even a visit from Mermaid Sarah!
San Onofre 8th-grade graduates and their families, about 100 in total, were treated to a taco party in honor of the graduates. Morale events for children of military families are an important part of SCMFO's mission.
A picnic style Mother-Child Tea with gifts and prizes was held on May 28, 2016 at St. Andrew's By the Sea in San Clemente.
SCMFO partners with United Healthcare for an Easter Basket Giveaway. All military families are welcome to bring children for a basket and enjoy food and goodies with The Outreach and the UHC mascot.
School Supplies Drive - The Outreach collects and delivers school supplies in support of San Onofre School.
